The Survey, conducted between 15th and 17th June 2012 by ShopTo.net, found that new devices were stealing market share from the ‘traditional’ gaming market such as PlayStation and Xbox with 35% of those surveyed spending more time playing games on their Smart Phone.
On the 8th of February 2012, Sony announced that all PlayStation Network accounts will be rebrended under the new stylish name of Sony Entertainment Network accounts or SEN accounts for short. The change took effect at the same time as the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita software updates.
After completing your software updates you will notice the new SEN Account branding on the platforms. The change has not affected the naming of PlayStation Network accounts when viewed on a PSP (PlayStationPortable) system.
This account change is a change in name only. You do not have to do anything and your username and password will not change.
The PlayStation Vita will launch in the United Kingdom on the 22nd February 2012.
