Since Halloween, Gearbox Software and 2K Games have been releasing holiday themed “Headhunter” packs. The next Headhunter pack will tell the story of How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day and will release on December 17th. It will be available via Steam for PC and Mac, the Xbox LIVE Marketplace on the Xbox 360, and the PlayStation Network for PS3. The price is estimated to be $2.99 / £2.39 / 2,99 €.
As a train full of weapons from Marcus goes missing, he asks our lovely Vault Hunters if they will help him retrieve them. Visit the village of Gingerton where the weather isn’t the most frightful, but the snowmen will want to murder you. Once you have taken down the Abominable Mister Tinder Snowflake claim your prize by unlocking the new skin and head customizations for each of the six Vault Hunters.
For the week of July 2nd through July 8th you can grab various pieces of DLC for Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 2 for half-off on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
Included in this sale is the first three add-ons; Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage and, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt. These three packs originally sold for 800 Microsoft Points ($10) and are now on sale for 400 Microsoft Points ($5). The newest DLC, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep is not included as part of this sale.
You can also grab the two character packs for 400 Points as well. Get the fifth playable character, Gaige the Mechromancer as well as the newly released Psycho, Krieg for the same price.
For 200 Points you can grab the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack and the Creature Slaughter Dome. The former offers a brand new play through mode which sports a higher chance at better loot and increases the rank cap from 50 to 61. The latter gives a new form to the “Circles of Slaughter” that are within the game; only this time instead of facing Hyperion bots or Bandit thugs, take on the wildlife that roams Pandora.
