I think we’re just getting started
Handsome 343 men feet getting started on their holiday pedicure
When I joined the studio in 2010, the team was heads-down creating Halo Waypoint and Halo Legends. As I watched numerous people hunched over their desks, hard at work, I remember saying to myself, “I think we’re just getting started.”
On November 15, 2011, when we released Halo: Anniversary, our remake of Halo: Combat Evolved, the same thought ran through my mind: “I think we’re just getting started. Continue Reading
The “Forza Horizon” SmartGlass Experience works as an interactive map of Colorado–the vast open-world environment where fans will drive, explore, and race against other players. Via the “Forza Horizon” SmartGlass Experience, “Forza Horizon” players can instantly access the entire map of Colorado. Using familiar navigation gestures like pinch to zoom, players can explore the interactive map and set waypoints simply by tapping the desired location on the screen. Once a destination is chosen, that waypoint is automatically set in the game and new route directions are presented to the player. Continue Reading

The SRT8 Challenger is a stunning example of American muscle and is ready to conquer the tracks of Forza Motorsport 4.
Participating stores for the Horizon pre-order incentive Challenger include GameStop, Best Buy, Amazon, Target, Wal-Mart, the Microsoft Store, and Newegg in the U.S.; Game, GameStation, and Amazon in the U.K.; and GameStop, Media Saturn, and Amazon in the rest of Europe. As more participating retail chains are added, we will keep you updated.
The new trailer released by Turn 10 studios takes an in depth look into how the game takes on a new aim from the previous forza motorsport games, the goal this time is much like the Test Drive unlimited & Test Drive Unlimited 2 games where you start off as a small time driver working your way up the hierarchy to become the most popular driver, but this is just one of the many goals of Forza Horizon.
In the new gameplay video for Forza Horizon we are introduced to the concept of skill point, learning how to obtain these skill points will help you become the best driver around. In this trailer it highlights the Kinect integration which will be incredibly different from any other racing as Joystiq reports that a voice-activated GPS will be implemented into the wide open spaces of Forza Horizon, the feature is meant to prevent drivers from getting lost, or in some instances keep you focused on your next objective. Playground Games told Joystiq that a common occurrence during testing was people getting a bit lost in the large open world. The GPS should help you find your way. You can call out specific locations such as “GPS, Festival, Autoshow”, or ask general questions like “where’s my next race?”. Once the Kinect registers your command, the familiar green Forza race line will lead the way.
There’s no confirmation of what languages other than standard English will be supported for this Kinect feature.
Forza Horizon launches October 23rd 2012.
