In yesterday’s Halo Bulletin, we found out a little more info about some of the Halo 4 Armor Specializations. Out of a total eight specializations, two of them will be available right out of the box once the game launches. Yesterday 343 Industries released a video on their YouTube channel showcasing some of remastered sounds for Halo 4. We got to see and hear some of the sounds of some UNSC weapons, ranging from the classic pistol to the other classic of the Battle Rifle. Plus the sound of a few new weapons being introduced into our arsenal of destruction.
Personally, I like the new some of the new sounds of the weapons. I have always loved it when shooters make the weapons sound realistic, it’s a real disappointment when a large-caliber weapon sounds like an office stapler… Several keen eyed members from a Halo community noticed that there was also a new weapon of some sort hinted at during the section with the rocket launcher. Most of the theories are wondering if it is some sort of sidearm for the new enemies you will be fighting. Dubbing it the “Promethean Pistol”, whether this is the case or not, we shall find out! Without further adieu, the trailer advertising some UNSC weapon sounds from Halo 4: Continue Reading

The BBC made an embarrassing mistake and showed the UNSC logo from Microsoft’s Halo as long time news anchor Sophie Raworth reported the news about United Nations Security Council.
The Telegraph reported that next to the Amnesty symbol behind the newsreader was not the normal light blue of the United Nations Security Council symbol, but black and gold logo used by Halo’s United Nations Space Command (UNSC).
Amnesty International has accused the United Nations Security Council of failing to “match the courage” of protestors in the beleaguered Middle Eastern country. With the BBC covering the daily news coming from Syria you would expect them to not make such a blunder.
A BBC spokesperson apologised for the mix up in a statement to Eurogamer.
“BBC News makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of all images broadcast, however very occasionally mistakes do happen,” they said.
“Unfortunately an incorrect logo was used during a segment on last week’s News at One bulletin and we apologise to viewers for the mistake. The image was not broadcast in our later bulletins.”
After the Awesomness of Halo 4 that 343i unloaded over us at E3 with what we can look forward to in the Reclaimer Trilogy, it seems that the new enemies, the Promethians are not the only surprise you will encounter at E3. For those of you lucky enough to go to the expo, if you head on over to the boothes to play a bit of Halo 4 you may well be given a code for some new look Halo armour for your Xbox Avatar.
Here at Inside View Gaming we can bring you a sneak peak at the possible pre-order bonus for Halo 4, although not yet confirmed and much like Halofest’s exclusive Cortana avatar prop, we are pretty sure here at IVG that it will end up in the Xbox Avatar Marketplace at some point after the release.
