Monday was a very busy day in the world of E3 with the Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and Sony press briefings. In case you missed any them, we will recap the major highlights in this post. We’ll kick off with Microsoft’s announcements, which included nothing but games for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
After starting a few minutes later than planned, we were quickly greeted with a trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. After this, we found out what is going to happened to our beloved Xbox 360. Rolling out to retailers across the UK, US, Ireland, Canada, and Australia today and continuing to roll out across the rest of the supported Xbox regions later this year. The newly redesigned console features a look that is more inline with the Xbox One branding and fits well with todays modernistic décor. While we’re waiting for the world premiere of gameplay Bungie’s next game, Destiny we were graced with one of the first trailers for the game. In collaboration with director Jon Favreau, visual effects house Digital Domain, and actor Giancarlo Esposito; this part CG, part live action trailer shows three Guardians in action against several enemies that will be present in this new adventure.
