After many months of what has been called “the darkness”, Bungie has been letting the information on their new IP Destiny trickle out to fans at a slow rate. The last large amount of information we knew about was the announcement of a beta that will be arriving in 2014; today we received a definitive date as to when we get our hands on this new title.
September 9th, 2014 the world will finally get its hands on the first installment of this new journey. Also unveiled is that the beta will arrive in the Summer of 2014 instead of the Spring of next year as earlier reported. The PlayStation 3 and 4 will still receive access to the beta earlier than the Xbox One and 360. At this point it is still unknown how early it will be available and when it will launch on the Xbox systems.
In celebration of the PlayStation 4 being released on Friday, Bungie announced to their fans that the beta for their upcoming project Destiny will be releasing on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 first. The beta is expected to start some time in early 2014, with the games launch rumored to be in the Spring of 2014 as well.
In order to gain a spot in the beta, just simply pre-order the game from your preferred retailer. You can locate that information on this page. Also as part of this announcement, we received a little trailer featuring footage in-engine on a PlayStation 4.

Yesterday the cover art for Bungie’s new IP Destiny was unveiled for the systems it will be released on. Today we saw the arrival of a new trailer; showcasing one destination that many have been waiting for, the moon.
Earlier this morning, Bungie released the box art for Destiny. On the PlayStation blog they also mentioned that a new trailer is inbound for tomorrow.
While we’re waiting for the world premiere of gameplay Bungie’s next game, Destiny we were graced with one of the first trailers for the game. In collaboration with director Jon Favreau, visual effects house Digital Domain, and actor Giancarlo Esposito; this part CG, part live action trailer shows three Guardians in action against several enemies that will be present in this new adventure. With the announcement of the Playstation 4 yesterday, another announcement about Destiny came out of Camp Bungie. This time in the form of a video showing Bungie co-founder Jason Jones announcing that Destiny will be released for both the PS3 and PS4 at the same time of the games launch.
We still do not know a whole lot of information in regards to Destiny, but there is a bit of new gameplay featured in the announcement video that was released by Bungie.
So since the release of a huge amount of information about Destiny we thought we would bring you what we know here at Inside View Gaming.
The Developer of this incredible looking game is Bungie (you know they guys that brought you Halo right?) and the publisher is Activision.
