A few weeks ago, Terraria, one of the biggest indie games of 2011, recived a huge content update in the form of update 1.2. This update changed almost every aspect of the game, and has left Terraria players bathing in hundreds of hours of content. But Andrew “Redigit” Spinks isn’t through with Terraria yet. Instead, “Redigit” has launched te new Halloween update for Terraria. In a similiar vein as the Christmas holiday event seen in update 1.1, this update allows all enemies to drop “Goodie Bags” when killed, which contain rare items and blocks. Monsters now wear costumes, NPC’s sell new items, and certain new events have been added for your enjoyment. This update isn’t all about new content however. This update also fixes many key flaws with 1.2.
The update is avalible through Steam when you try to launch the game, and shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to download.

In order to get it for free via the Season Pass you must download the DLC in-game.
Electronic Arts and the Red Cross are teaming up to help bring aid when a natural disaster strikes. If you purchase the Red Cross branded content (priced at £7.99) it will allow players to supplement the available in-game emergency vehicles with additional relief from the Red Cross when a natural disaster strikes your in-game city.
Included in this content is two Red Cross themed vehicles that will travel around your city when a disaster happens. Also included is a Disaster Relief Center and the ability for Disaster Relief tents to appear around the area when a natural disaster happens. Sims that would normally have been critically injured will receive care from these tents; once recovery efforts have been accomplished by the in-game Red Cross, each tent will disappear and release ten healthy Sims back into the city.
