Halo: Spartan Assault
The much awaited release date for Halo Spartan Assault on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 has finally arrived and it’s not just one but 2 dates.
For Xbox One owners, they can grab themselves n early Christmas present with the release hitting on December 24th, where as 360 owners need to wait a little longer with a more vague “January 2014” being given.
The price has been given as $14.99 (which is estimated to be about £10~ in the UK) is not a bad deal. Even better for the fans who have bought the game on either Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 as they can pick up the title for a measly $4.99!
From Xbox Wire:
When it released on Windows 8 devices and Windows Phone 8 earlier this year, “Halo: Spartan Assault” was greeted by Halo fans with open arms. The twin stick shooter was lauded by critics and players alike for presenting a game that looked and sounded just as great as the Halo games of old while providing a top-down experience that had never been seen in the series. In fact, the only thing that was missing was the ability to play the game on your console.
That all changes on December 24 when a new and improved “Halo: Spartan Assault” comes to Xbox One via a digital download priced at $14.99. Not only will the game look gorgeous on the Xbox One thanks to its native 1080p resolution and smooth 60 fps frame rate, it will also feature a brand-new cooperative mode, new weapons, and the inclusion of the “Operation Hydra” add-on.
Best of all, fans that have purchased “Halo: Spartan Assault” for Windows 8 devices or Windows Phone 8 to date or purchase prior to December 15, 2013, will be eligible to purchase the Xbox One version of the game at the discounted price of $4.99. And don’t worry, Xbox 360 owners: “Halo: Spartan Assault” will be available on your console in January 2014.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Rockstar have recently announced that in December 2013 GTA San Andreas will be arriving on mobile devices (iOS, Android and Windows Phone)
Before GTAV took us to the sun-bleached sidewalks and humming concrete freeways of present-day Los Santos and beyond, there was Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the biggest GTA of the PS2 era. Now, head back to the early 90s with CJ and the Grove Street Families when Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas comes to mobile devices next month.
Encompassing Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas and everything in between, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has been upgraded for its mobile release. Newly remastered graphics including dynamic and detailed shadows, greater draw distance, an enriched colour palette, plus enhanced character and car models make this the best-looking version of San Andreas yet.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas also features brand new touch controls including contextual control options to display buttons only when you need them and three different control schemes for driving and manoeuvring, as well as a reworked checkpoint system for easier progression. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for mobile also comes equipped with full controller support, including Made for iOS controller capability on iOS7. It will be available for select iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle and Windows Mobile devices. Stay tuned for more details in the weeks ahead.
