While many games are available on the Xbox Live Arcade Marketplace, they usually are small party games with mediocre gameplay and graphics that are fun for about a week. However, cited as one of the greatest Arcade titles released to date, we’ll see if Trials Evolution created by RedLynx (A Subsidiary of Ubisoft) has what it takes to get through the trials of a game review.
The Xbox Live Arcade Marketplace is notorious for games with less-than-great graphics. While this had been the case throughout the years, Trials Evolution takes leaps and bounds and manages to serve up an array of beautiful, HD 3D environments. With an entire country (Appropriately named Crash Country) to unleash your imagination in, it’s a shock that a downloadable title is able to support this kind of detail. From the pieces of destroyable wood to the individual blades of tall grass, you will be more than impressed. With 2 new DLC Worlds (Priced 400MSP each) you’ll be given an Island filled with bays and Lagoons, as well as multiple city locations, and a Desert like landscape teeming with possibilities. Add that with full customization of both the rider and the bike, and you’ll be telling your friends you must have hit you head because the game just looks too good. Continue Reading
