With the most recent Halo Bulletin, Jessica Shea, the community manager for 343 Industries, has confirmed that the Halo 4 in-game file browser will be fully functioning on January 29th, and the web version of the file browser will be coming late February.
Halo 4 hasn’t exactly had the easiest launch, it has been plagued with issues, many which have been fixed, many which haven’t, but one of those issues which is being fixed as of January 29th, is the in-game File Browser.
Currently, if you try to use the following options on the file browser, you’ll be simply told “NO FILES FOUND”:
- Custom Search
- Most Downloaded
- Most Recommended
This has been an issue with Halo 4 since its launch back in November, and 343i finally announced today that it will be fixed as of January 29th.
Due to the issues with the in-game file browser, the website file browser was also pushed back until the in-game one was functioning, with the in-game file browser being fixed on January 29th, 343i have also announced that the website file browser will be released ‘late February’.
This is good news to the custom games community, as these two features were huge in order to actually find fun custom gametypes to play ever since Halo: Reach introduced the system.
